I am a Doctor of Acupuncture dedicated to helping others achieve their optimal health. I specialize in Stroke and Brain Injuries, having studied in China at the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin, China. Well known for it's leadership in treating these conditions. Currently residing in Taipei, Taiwan where I am expanding my studies including speaking Mandarin, shi ba fa martial arts, and expanded Classical Acupuncture techniques not broadly studied nor used in modern acupuncture settings.It might surprise you that I am a former engineer for AT&T Bell Labs, but it’s those technical and problem-solving skills I gleaned years ago coupled with my passion to help others that make me better at what I do. After discovering the benefits of acupuncture first hand, I decided to take the leap into a completely different career. Now more than 20 years later, I have been the owner of The Atlantic Center for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine in New Jersey, USA where I implement a lot of Master Tung and Dr. Tan techniques and many other Classical Chinese Acupuncture styles like gua sha and gi gong instruction as well as herbal remedies, cupping, bloodletting, electro-acupuncture, photobiomodulation and auricular therapy. I also use a non-needle allergy relief technique that has proven to be incredibly effective. I am also a past member of the local Office of Emergency Management responding to hazmat and rescue incidents for the last 12 years.
