I provide for all documentation needs, including help system analysis, planning, drafting, generation and publication. I'm using time-proven methods to continually produce a large number of complex technical manuals detailing the installation, configuration and operation of a product that combines telephony, land mobile radio (LMR), Lync, Sharepoint, and client-based communication with other IP-based traffic. This includes a full online help suite containing instructions for every portion of the product. Documentation is modular, composed in Framemaker and generated through WebWorks ePublisher. Deliverables are supplied in online help format, (.chm, .html), and .pdf. I also produce a considerable number of Word files such as readme, release notes, hot fix instructions, service notes, quick start guides, knowledge base articles, SDKs, mobile-device help, and other documents. I maintain templates in Word and Framemaker. In addition to my standard duties I also assist with testing, administer the internal wiki, publish monthly newsletters for the Engineering department, and occasionally work in SharePoint. In my spare time I research the product, dabble in Flash and experiment with various XML-based documentation systems to keep myself up to date with the newest tools. Basically I'm a one stop doc shop here, which has allowed me to keep a good level of consistency in voice and style throughout the documentation suite.
