An Internet-of-Things (IoT) start-up based in Miami and California, I joined the company shortly after its founding to design and deliver the cloud architecture that would power it. I served as Lead Developer for the system’s C# based iProof API, and designer and administrator of its 500 million record cloud database using a unique hybrid architecture I created (C# + SQL + JSON). I oversaw an international team of multi-faceted developers who helped create the web UI portals, mobile apps, and factory production line equipment, that interfaced with the API. I also served as the Director of Marketing responsible for the communication of the system’s features and benefits, the general design of the brand, all UI/UX interfaces, product and marketing materials, as well as assisting the Sales department by delivering live presentations to potential clients, several of whom were Fortune 500 companies: Pfizer, Under Armor, Opus One, Perry Ellis. My unique skill sets, and experiences allowed me to lead this effort on both the technical and marketing aspects with equal success and orchestration.

As Global Web Director, I served as the lead for the design and development of all web-based solutions offered to employees and customers alike. This included a primary global intranet for Stanford Employees to use as a source of corporate communication and employee’s services like HR Benefits, Reporting, Document sharing and as a platform to distribute applications. I was also responsible for the web-based operation of several financial properties in the Caribbean. This included online banking, marketing websites and reporting. In Feb 2009, the Chairman, Allen Stanford was arrested on exchange and securities fraud for running a $8 billion Ponzi scheme. He is currently serving a 50+ year sentence in federal prison (amen). Working strictly in technology, I was neither involved, nor aware of any of their illegal financial practices.

Serving as the Manager of the Business System Development team, I lead a team of senior developers and database admins in the development and management of all internal business systems for the North American home office of Amadeus Global. This included data warehousing, web development and applications, local intranet, e-commerce, websites supporting marketing initiatives and general tech consulting for the organization. I created the North American Intranet (Jazz) and managed its growth and development over 6 years. It introduced web-based intranets and revolutionized many of the business activities performed by the company globally.
