I pursue research-based and pragmatic solutions to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) challenges in the employment, education, and community participation domains. I have provided the opportunities and tools necessary to succeed to students with disabilities from rural and urban Title I schools, college students with disabilities, and state and local workforce development systems working with at-risk and marginalized populations through my work. I have also worked on behalf of the business community to develop strategies to increase hiring inclusivity and conducted research for the federal government focusing on using interdisciplinary and interagency partnerships to promote successful inclusion in various societal domains. As a volunteer in the community, I work to promote education, training, and employment opportunities for disadvantaged populations and people with disabilities and advocate for the health and social support necessary for them to succeed.
