As Simon Sinek says the true goal of a business is to play the “Infinite Game,” which means to keep competing and being relevant. Like any professional sports team, as a business leader you are building a franchise, not just winning a single championship. Throughout my career I have thrived on creating relevance and competing, from startups to billion+ dollar companies, organic growth to inorganic growth, and from acquiring to divesting.A business needs to keep pivoting to sustain its value, and I am passionate about tackling massive challenges, welcoming the hard, the intimidating, and the complex. I approach challenges with curiosity, recognizing the underlying patterns to form the foundation of a solution. I parachute in and agilely lead the team to first triage and then thrive, motivating them to get excited about the possibilities, to reach for success, and all the while enjoy striving together. For the last almost 16 years, I have had 12 roles and continued to be asked to take on the challenges facing InterCall/West/Intrado and drive success. I learn; I build culture; I set direction; and I lead us forward. Then, as business constantly needs to improve in order to compete, I do it again.
