Student Assistant for Build a Better Book program, helping to design and create accessible resources for community clients with the purpose of aiding visually impaired individuals.

Served as a Mentor for the Build a Better Book high school internship. Advised and mentored project teams during the high school internship, and worked with clients to create accessible projects for the blind and visually impaired community.

Served as an intern for the Build a Better Book program at the University of Colorado. Worked in a team in order to design and manufacture a project that caters to the specific needs of a vision impaired individual within the local area. Learned about the engineering design process, and about accessibility in design. Gained critical skills in circuitry, coding, and laser cutting in order to manufacture a product that was delivered to the client.
