We developed a data-parallel run-time product, Formation, used to extract, transform, load (ETL) data for building data warehouses. The project began within 'CMG Direct Interactive', a subsidiary of CMGI. The company was then renamed to be 'Engage Technologies'. The company 'Red Brick Systems' then purchased the 'Formation' product and development team. The company 'Informix' then acquired 'Red Brick Systems', and was subsequently acquired by 'IBM'. The product was then sold as ‘IBM Informix Formation’.
