Lead a team of engineers to design a business class closet-ottoman monument for Cathay Pacific Airlines on 777 and 777-9 aircraft, while working closely with other business unit design leads and the customer’s industrial designers. Created drafting work packages and reviewed drawings for international drafters to create production and test drawings.Created several excel based tools to provide visibility and tracking design status and drawing release status in support of project financial and schedule goals and requirements.Acted as an engineering focal for manufacturing and procurement change requests and provided alternative design solutions to circumvent supply chain shortages.

Developed and designed the Crystal Cabin award winning MFELX Duet product line, which utilizes exit door areas on the aircraft to create a self-serve bar and social zone, from Technical Readiness Level (TLR) 1 to TRL 6; including prototype fabrication, confidence testing, and preliminary drawing release.I worked in a small design team to develop the 2018 Crystal Cabin award winning Silhouette MOVE class divider. While on this project I preformed concept generation, mechanical design, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), mechanical analysis, specified several vendor part requirements, My involvement on the product was primarily focused on the mechanism that secures the class divider between its TTL position and its in-flight position.I authored several test plans and reports to generate B-basis allowables for threaded inserts in honeycomb panels. Including a unique 45° insert pull to satisfy a unique loading condition.I authored several departmental manuals to standardize material testing so that the engineering department was the authority on material lot testing and to standardize test methods for material certification. I worked on a project to reduce injection molding and thermoforming costs for low volume production parts by creating low tooling cost molds. This effort was designed as a replacement for 3D printed FDM parts that are not air worthy. Using new technologies, we are able to create injection molds from low cost 3D printed materials and aluminum filled epoxy.

Conducted short-beam shear, long-beam flexure, edgewise compression, flatwise compression, and climbing drum peel testing on honeycomb sandwich composite panels, per ASTM standards to certify new materials for flight and determine B-basis flexure, shear, and peel stress allowables. Testing included over 2500 coupons from 7 manufacturers.Designed several aides to assist testing and ensure testing could be completed ahead of schedule with maximum accuracy.
