Provide consulting services on equipment optimization and continuous improvement strategies.

Direct the management of Astaldi’s complete fleet of leased and owned equipment including batch plant and crusher for a $1Billion civil work contract on the Muskrat Falls hydroelectric project in Labrador.•Manage in excess of 600 assets.•Identify equipment utilization requirements, prepare budgets and equipment forecasts. Establish monitoring and control procedures in order to track progress and identify any change requirements.•Empower workforce in the adaptation of a conscientious safety culture.•Provide coaching and mentoring to members of the maintenance team.•Establish and ensure crane and transportation compliance.•Analysis and planning of workforce schedules.•Responsible for warranty management including disputes and conflict resolutions.•Vendor interaction - communicate areas of concern and provide constructive feedback.•Direct the overall management of the shop and yard facilities.•Manage equipment damage and safety investigations including root cause analysis.•Labour relations: ensure OHS, corporate policies and collective agreement compliance.
