About Robert Boyce
I was co-founder in 2002 of the agtech company IceRobotics, targeting dairy farm automation. We pioneered the application of time-of-flight sensing to 3D machine vision for dairy farm robotics. Following an asset sale of our 3D machine vision sensor in 2007, my co-founder Dr Andrew Peacock established Peacock Technology as a robotic automation design company, whilst I refocused IceRobotics on IoT for dairy cattle management, CowAlert. In 2019, I joined the Peacock Technology team with a mandate to help create a new global player in the use of robotics and artificial intelligence for a better world. In 2022, we acquired IceRobotics into our group. We are now employ around 50 people, applying robotics and AI in a range of applications, with our primary focus in dairy farm automation for high efficiency and high welfare dairy farming with a goal to achieve net zero dairy production.
