He took GTECH private (it was traded on NASDAQ) in a LBO, then took it public again in an IPO (traded on NYSE) and subsequently had two successful secondary offerings. Prior to GTECH, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Health-tex, Inc., a $320 million marketer and retailer of children’s apparel. He led the management buyout of Health-tex from Chesebrough-Ponds’ Inc., a $3.2 billion branded consumer products company, where he previously served as Chesebrough’s Group Vice President and as a member of their Board. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Cion Investment Corporation, a closed-end management investment company operating as a BDC. He was a member of the Board of By Design International Ltd., a leading marketer of women's apparel, a member of the Board of OSF, Inc., a publicly traded company with headquarters in Toronto Canada and was a member of the Board of Chesebrough-Ponds’ Inc., a branded consumer products company.He earned a BS in Mathematics and a MBA degree from the City College of New York.Specialties: ROBERT A.
