    As a selected CEM member, I followed up on off-road mobility research from my undergraduate studies. My contributions included designing an active suspension actuator for vehicles, redesigning the piston, piston seals, and bump-stops. Additionally, I created various components such as the mounting assembly, bellow assembly for foreign object protection, universal joint, vibration isolation system, and bracket for a test structure to prevent tire deformation.I conducted fatigue testing on an actuator design and explored the use of a linkage system to replace leaf springs on the vehicle. Moreover, I managed parts procurement and inventory control for actuators being built for a test vehicle.In another project, I was involved in designing a high energy density compulsator power supply for an electromagnetic gun. I crafted the cooling system for the stator and devised a test structure to research the cooling assembly using SolidWorks. For this project, I performed stress analysis on electric connectors and endplates using Finite Element Analysis.Furthermore, I conducted extensive research on honeycomb and structural foam inserts to reduce weight on the stator tube. Lastly, I designed a test setup to replicate repulsion loads on conductors in the active portion of the armature using Cosmos Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) software.
