Completed hardware design and documented the install procedure ensuring all requirements were met. Managed the install schedule and the Systems Administrators completing the installation. • Lead Systems Engineer for Hardware modernization of USMC Combat Operation Center. Project was to modernize the COC to reduce size, weight and power. Created drawings, signal and power ICDs. Built and integrated the LRIP for testing purposes and supported production of the final system. • Performed R&D on emerging technologies targeting technologies that could impact the USSOCOM TACLAN system. • Worked on DARPA NEST program which was an attempt to scale a network of mini sensors to an extreme level. Integrated two systems seamlessly to take the best features of each system for an extreme scale network demonstration. Led team that optimized and rewrote code to enhance system performance and stability. Fixes to the networking, report structure and sensor drivers enabled the system to scale to over 2200 nodes. • Responsible for the design and coding of a wireless laser sensor system. System consisted of a wireless ad hoc network of sensors, a relay for communicating between the sensors and a PC, and the PC application for displaying the information from the field. Integrated the sensor system into the open geospatial standards based PULSENet architecture for command and control. Second revision of hardware for wireless sensor system developed with advances in networking protocols and the inclusion of 3G cellular connectivity• Evaluated sensors by writing test applications and drivers. Performed field tests to demonstrate the capability before inclusion in the system.

• Developed drivers for peripherals connected to the 8051s, including radios, sensors, eeproms, etc. Also developed system control messaging scheme to return data from the various processors in the system. Wrote Linux test applications for sending and receiving messages to and from the 8051s for exercising the aforementioned drivers.

• Design and support of an audio add-on card which allowed for storage and playback of advertisements and audio stream.
