My work has appeared in Texas Music, Brooklyn Parent, the Woodstock Times, Rural Intelligence, vulture.com, Paste, TheRumpus.net, Dadwagon.com, Fine Books & Collections, Generation Monthly, DadWagon.com, Fathermucker.com, Rock Paper Photo, Chronogram, and the Da Capo anthology The Show I ‘ll Never Forget. I also co-penned liner notes for an anthology of folk music recorded at the legendary Caffe Lena, and ghost-wrote liner notes for Gregg Allman on the Grammy-winning CD Muscle Shoals. I live in the Catskill Mountains of New York, where I chop and stack wood, write, teach, and garden. Specialties: I write about music, books, and people. I'm reliable.
