Worked with radiation, microwave, encoders, sensors, drive motors and controllers. Certified for radiological work, NFPA 70E and OSHA 10. Greif Paperboard, our customer, had an equipment upgrade that included service for a year, so our contract was not renewed. The site contact is one of my references. -

Routinely traveled the United States, Mexico and Canada for installations, repair and maintenance. Since I left, about 70% of the company has been retired, furloughed or layed off. -

This is a high-tech technician position to maintain and repair a variety of equipment. It is high volume production that uses a silk screen process that coats metals on silicon wafers and bakes the material at a number of steps, later - lasers the edges, test the wafers and sorts them by their electrical and visual characteristics. This requires troubleshooting point to point signal tracing from PLC's to various components; 24 volt control and feedback loops; various instrumentation; working with 3 phase motors; controllers; furnaces; dryers; silk screen printers; material handling; product testing and other equipment. Worked with the smallest, most delicate electronics up to industrial size motors. Extremely automated. Wrote/Write (till day's end) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for various aspects of cell manufacturing and support equipment. Fully familiar with Microsoft Office and other programs. Excellent communication skills. Member of the Emergency Response Team. Due to the falling price of solar panels, the company was no longer profitable and closed March 2011. -

Intel was very up front that the Hudson plant was scheduled for shut down. -

While stationed at Plattsburgh, exposed a discrepancy in testing the Antenna-Receiver that resulted in a mean fail rate of 120 hours from the previous rate of 18 hours flying time.
