I manage a team within BNY Mellon Corporate Trust which analyzes, reviews and executes complex structured finance transactions with clients. I work with clients, counsel and BNY Mellon teams to resolve issues and develop new business in line with business objectives within the products my team covers, including US domestic and cross-border ABS and MBS trustee appointments, master servicing and document custody. Our team mitigates risk to BNY Mellon by: -reviewing atypical or complex client contracts or transactions and ensuring that they comply with corporate policies and business procedures, as well as compensate BNY Mellon for services provided - ensuring that BNY Mellon responsibilities are depicted accurately in contracts to avoid potential disputes-leading communications with lawyers, advisors and clients to resolve any structural or contractual issues-ensuring BNY Mellon is compliant with applicable regulations and policies and procedures As a group manager, I assign transactions to team members with appropriate experience and skills, act as a point of escalation to resolve difficult issues, and track onboarding metrics to help resolve any issues and to keep my team’s activities on track. I am often involved in initial internal discussions and client calls with Sales and Relationship Management colleagues when considering new and unique transactions.

-Manage a team of seven Transaction Managers, based in Chicago, New York and Pittsburgh, tasked with negotiating and closing structured finance-related transactions, supporting Asset-Backed Securities (“ABS”), Mortgage-Backed Securities (“MBS”) and Document Custody products.-Effectuate TMG mandate to identify, escalate and mitigate risk to the firm during deal negotiation and onboarding processes.-Engage, train and motivate a team of professionals of various experience levels by developingrelationships, actively mentoring, advising and providing sound feedback.-Work closely with BNY Mellon Sales and Relationship Management, Client Service Management,Compliance, Risk and Legal teams to ensure that internal stakeholders have clear understandings of any risks and non-standard duties being considered in new transactions.-Manage outside counsel relationships to ensure strong representation while managing costs.-Manage client expectations by effectively and efficiently negotiating governing documents.

-As Team Leader, managed a team of four Relationship Managers and six Trust Associates in Chicago ABS Administration group, including providing escalation feedback for risk and other issues, preparing and delivering performance evaluations, and coordinating team project deliverables for senior management.-As Relationship Manager, oversaw a portfolio of ABS and Document Custody transactions from deal inception to termination, with responsibility for document negotiation, account set-up, payment processing, and all related client service and compliance matters relating thereto.
