About Robert Bergmann, Pmp

Philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche wrote, “He who has a why can endure almost any how.” Carl Jung also wrote, “[Man] can stand the most incredible hardships when he is convinced they make sense.”I believe that any problem can be solved if the problem solver has the understanding of WHY the problem needs to be solved. My passion is training and mentoring other leaders and building winning teams while simultaneously honing my own leadership skills. Whether I was leading a team of twelve Sailors as a Landing Craft CraftMaster, driving a department of 100 Sailors to complete missions around the world, or running the Navy's Enlisted Leader Development Program for the entire East Coast, I was not just focused on meeting the mission; I was focused on training my Sailors and team so they could succeed as well. As both a leader of people and a manager of programs and processes, I take pride in my work, my programs, and watching others succeed. I take pride in the legacy that I leave behind. With over 15 years experience in various leadership and managerial positions spanning over numerous commands in the Navy, I have developed the ability to adapt, problem solve, prioritize, and lead in many unique and challenging roles. The duty station changes every few years has helped me develop an ability to catch on quickly and adapt to changing environments. These qualities and experiences have made me open to new challenges and excited to tackle new adventures.
