Some specific areas of responsibility included: pricing, new business development, Lean manufacturing operations, managing all departments, budget development and review, customer relations, vendor selection and negotiations, training, and safety.Transition Team Leader October 2008 – February 2009Greif sold or closed 3 box plants in October 2008. At that time, Greif also restructured and subsequently eliminated the GM position for each remaining box plant – including mine. I was then asked to lead the Transition Team to get the affected plant’s customers, equipment and employees sold, transferred internally or released. My Transition Team Leader position was eliminated at the end of February 2009 and other job options at the Corporate Office were shelved due to the economy.

Edinburgh was a new build start-up operation.
