Construction Observation and Inspection on a replacement of 21-Span, 333’ long railroad bridge, with a new 5-span, 232' BNSF bridge in Southern Illinois. The project work consist of building a ¾ mile gravel road to the construction site. Removing two existing two bridge spans and replacing them with falsework jump spans. Placement of steel tubes & H-Piles, construction of falsework metal forms, placement of reinforcement steel cage and concrete for pier caps. Removal of existing pier caps & bridge spans and setting the new through-plate girder and precast double box spans on the new pier and abutment caps.
