Clinical neurophysiology background working in Economic Development.I graduated college with a few things – a degree, an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, and a desire to enhance the lives of others. Following graduation, I accepted a position with Biotronic, one of the leaders in neurophysiologic intraoperative monitoring. After the extensive training program and earning my CNIM certification, I worked in over 40 different hospitals throughout the Midwest, developing relationships with multiple surgeons and operating room staff. After almost 2.5 years of working for Biotronic, I found an opportunity that offered an entirely new challenge: Economic Development. Having a high sense of pride in the state that I was born and raised in, the position posting for the MEDC piqued my interest. My optimism, inventive problem solving, and communication skills have equipped me with the necessary tools to help manage a program that promotes and facilitates state-wide business development.
