*Managed building and grounds, (189,000 sqft cell make site and 215,000 sqft battery packaging site) reliability-centered maintenance, storeroom, machine shop, wastewater treatment and facilities maintenance technicians. *Produced 2% year-on-year savings by sponsoring contract ownership of security, housekeeping, landscaping, pest control and maintenance of cranes, dock doors, forklifts and HVAC. *Reduced $900K in storeroom inventory by eliminating dead stock, establishing store storage standards, ensuring FIFO and implementing vendor-managed consumables. *Delivered ~$90K in annualized utility savings through condensate management and idling one, of two boilers*Maintained Gold Sustainability Standards with 16% reduction in energy, 12% reduction in water, 14% reduction in waste, and 27% reduction in CO2 emissions.*Delivered >$5,000K in facilities’ savings by rightsizing staffing pattern, managing utilities and introducing new personnel efficiencies.*Returned support equipment to base condition utilizing equipment owners to maintain new standards, improved site appearance, and implemented standards / systems that maintained the site in tour ready status.

*Program Manager for the Duracell - Cleveland site Integrated Work System (IWS)*Facilitated the development of site Compelling Business Need (CBN), site master plan, site Zero Loss Journey (ZLJ), co-lead the weekly site leadership meetings and the site daily direction setting (DDS) meetings.*Maintained site master plan and site 90 day plan, supported the activities of 11 pillars, developed the site standard work document, and coordinated the site run-to-target (RTT) communication meetings.*Focused on building technician / team technical capability, utilizing Run To Target (RTT) Daily Management Systems with 100% of the site, module, and department RTT DMS (AM, PM, quality, safety, and training) owners qualified.* Focused on developing high performance work teams, and building technician capability with the manufacturing equipment maintained by the operator, in “as new” condition.*Trained and qualified technicians/teams in Daily Management Systems (DMS), autonomous maintenance (AM), progressive maintenance (PM), Standard Work, 5S, and problem solving (UPS, Why-Why, and 6W-2H).*Sponsored AM lead lines in cell assembly and packaging as a standard for the site manufacturing operations.

*As the Duracell Category Progressive Maintenance (PM) Pillar Leader, lead the five Duracell sites (Cleveland TN, Lancaster SC, LaGrange GA, Aarschot Belgium and DongGuan China) with focus on breakdown elimination, preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, work planning and scheduling, lubrication, stores management, maintenance plans, and maintenance calendars. *Delivered PM training to sites and qualified site pillar leaders in PM Step 1. *Delivered PM Pillar college to the P&G - Duracell, DongGuan, China site.*Delivered PM Pillar college, in China, with representatives from three P&G categories (Duracell, Gillette, and Braun).*Represented the Duracell category on the P&G Global PM pillar team.*Developed a SharePoint PM Pillar Site as a central repository for the Duracell category. Shared each sites PM Pillar Team Charters, DMS’s, One Year Action Plans, PM Step Audits, PM Training, Training Calendar, Visual Standards, Equipment Ranking, and Machine Cycle Charts.

*Managed the TPM and facilities group, and implemented reliability-centered maintenance tools (infrared thermography, vibration analysis, laser alignment and balancing). *Introduced AM Steps 1-3 with emphasis on equipment ownership and planned maintenance. *Supported the implementation of the MP2 CMMS system for preventive maintenance (PM) schedules in consolidations, cell assembly, and sub-assembly packaging, utilizing mechanics, equipment operators and material handlers during planned maintenance events.*Established the site Energy Conservation Team with focus on compressed air, steam, and power conservation. Documented >$70K cost avoidance using Nalco water treatment systems for the boiler and chiller closed loop water systems. Compressed air surveys resulted in cost avoidance of >$30K annually.*Lead Lean teams in 5S, standard work, quick change overs, AM optimization, PM optimization, equipment lubrication standardization, inactive parts storeroom reduction, review of outside services contracts and equipment rebuild procedures. *Completed standard work on HiBar’s used for dispensing electrolyte and slurry anode. Standardized rebuild process, standardized operating parameters (air pressure, dispense and return cycles), implemented rebuild tracking system, reduced dispense variability, and reduced HiBar rebuild cost.

*Managed Duracell International Engineering, providing project engineering support for facilities in the US, Mexico, China, India and South Africa. *Managed the manufacturing equipment design, build, or purchase, installation, debug, training and startup of alkaline battery manufacturing facilities in DongGuan China and Gurgaon India, on schedule and within budget.*Wrote the equipment specification package and led the commissioning of AA, and D zinc chloride battery assembly lines for Duracell, South Africa.*Lead the Duracell AAA cell line migration project, consolidating all US, AAA battery manufacturing to one site.
