Propulsion Test Engineer
Current-Designed manifold with orifices in Creo, set flow rate requirements using literature and system capability, and used excel to calculate the range of pressures to be in the required flow rate range and the pressure difference between orifices ensuring even flow.-Performed requirements decomposition for customer thruster requirements doc, translating to rebuild plan for atmospheric test stand including initial schedule and major costs breakdown.-Implemented an error propagation analysis for performance variables (C*, CF, etc.) to allow for easier sensor uncertainty requirements from performance variable uncertainties.-Took ownership propellant purging system from initial design to build procedures and implementation.-Rapidly set up a Data Acquisition system using National Instrument’s (NI) cDAQ system and LabView for load cell verification and resonant frequency tests on thrust measurement system.-Used Creo Piping to design tubing interface geometry for vacuum chamber and connection systems.-Gained familiarity with Windchill wtpart structure and change/release control.
