As a passionate cybersecurity professional, I am committed to ensuring the security and integrity of systems and networks. Currently, I serve as an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Intern at Novant Health, where I support security operations for over 850 locations and over 40,000 employees. I am responsible for managing user access, through account creation, assigning Active Directory, and creating privileged accounts, ensuring compliance with corporate IAM policies and HIPAA regulations.My expertise spans both the technical and operational sides of cybersecurity. I have hands-on experience configuring Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) environments using LimaCharlie and Splunk, Artifact retrieval, and Threat Intelligence. I also contribute to strategic projects, such as updating the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for improved cybersecurity governance.I hold a Security+ certification, which underscores my knowledge of risk management, threat analysis, and security technologies.
