My role at GIC consisted of many parts, working on conferences from concept to execution. Initially, I was in charge of testing new conference topics I had come up with alongside my team before deciding whether they would be commercially successful or not. After this initial period I would put together the events I thought would be a commercial success, bringing together a detailed agenda and then inviting extremely senior level speakers to speak on the various topics I created. The conference topics ranged from Digital Marketing in Pharma to next-level Internal Communications strategies. The role consists a lot of picking up the phone over 100 times a day and directly speaking to people on the phone which is something I love and thrive upon. Companies I got to speak at my events ranged from BMI, GSK, Pfizer, Boots and much more
