In my current role, I collaborate with a range of colleagues across multiple organizations to develop innovative product solutions for a wide range of client companies including numerous challenging technical projects with budgets ranging from $1 million to $3.5 million for manufacturing companies, train stations and shipping container companies. Some of my key contributions include the following: Develop practical solutions to complex business process and system issues to deliver a more streamlined and effective organizational output within extremely tight deadlines including the deployment of an AP solution to 350 sites/1000 AP’s in under 30 days. Prepare detailed reports on each project to develop a cost-benefit analysis and determine the best course of action for the business while guiding project teams in the successful delivery of agreed objectives against schedule and cost metrics. Conceptualize a sophisticated and unique (patent pending) architecture to monetize guest Wi-Fi network by using web push and advertising revenue to realize revenue returns. Design monetization templates for numerous AP manufacturers using captive portal and radius authentication to deliver effective solutions in several high-volume project accounts. Foster collaborative relationships with the existing client base to provide consulting, maintenance, and technical support services to support previously integrator-abandoned surveillance systems.

In this position, I managed all aspects of the design and implementation of digital surveillance solutions including the installation of cameras, strategic network design, access control systems, annunciating systems, display stations, and video analytics systems for a diverse portfolio of commercial clients. Implementation were completed on-time and under-budget with no change orders. My main responsibilities included the following: Provided oversight and project control for several high-profile initiatives including two large surveillance projects for Amtrak maintenance facilities with a budget of over $5 million.  Provided expertise across a range of technologies requiring Cisco networks (CCNA, CCDA, and CNMA), Proxim Wireless (PCWE), Proximex (Administrator), AgentVI (savVI), and Commend (System Professional) certifications.

Key contributions included: Defined and managed the development of solution definitions, competitive analysis, marketing positioning and messaging, revenue projections, training and marketing programs, and resource allocation requirements with attention to OEM customers, resellers, and end users.  Published articles in technical journals and spoke at trade shows internationally on data replication.

Was responsible for P&L of this new department – which generated a 60% net contribution to income, and developing complete business plans before this department was created.
