Rob is a partner in and leader of Levenfeld Pearlstein’s Corporate Group and has been with the firm since its inception. Rob's practice focuses on M&A, private equity and corporate transactions in the middle market and lower middle market across multiple industries and jurisdictions. He has extensive experience leading a wide spectrum of complex transactions throughout the planning, structuring, negotiation and execution phases of the process and beyond. Rob is a trusted advisor to private equity firms, private investors, family offices, strategic acquirers, privately-held companies and professional service firms. Rob has meaningful experience representing independent sponsors, searchers, and lower middle market PE sponsors in M&A and investment transactions. He also serves as “outside general counsel” for several of his clients and PE-backed portfolio companies.Rob listens to his clients so he can learn about and understand their business, risk tolerance, and objectives. As a practical, responsive, and effective deal lawyer, Rob combines his deep transaction experience, legal knowledge, and business acumen to focus on the issues that matter (and recognize and push past those that do not) to help his clients achieve successful outcomes in an efficient and commercial manner that aligns with their business objectives.
