I'm currently an Investment Officer for the Investment Performance division at CalSTRS where we actively do daily and monthly performance evaluation of each critical asset class within the organization. This has required me to use unique software systems such as Solovis by NASDAQ, Aladdin by BlackRock and State Street's reporting platform. Previously, I was an Investment Associate at CalPERS, where I supported the Leverage and Liquidity division for the Total Fund Portfolio Management team, working with various asset classes and strategies. I used Bloomberg Terminal, Aladdin by BlackRock, Microsoft Excel, PowerBi, and Python to analyze data, monitor markets, and report performance. I also hold a Bloomberg Market Concepts certification, which demonstrates my knowledge and skills in financial markets and portfolio management.I have completed multiple courses, including introduction to securities, portfolio management, and financial markets. I've gained valuable experience in accounting, insurance, and financial management at various firms such as Mutual of Omaha, Department of Finance (Sacramento), and have overseas experience in New Zealand at the prestigious NZX Limited (New Zealand Exchange). I'm passionate about learning new technologies, enhancing my analytical, and contributing to the financial well-being of an organization.
