- Provides all locations within assigned Area with specialized support and oversight in the areas of OSHA, DOT, and EPA and KORE compliance (state & federal), workplace and fleet safety, and environment program management.- Conducts regular OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulatory compliance audits and workplace safety, fleet safety and environment program reviews.- Prepares timely concise reports to the location's leadership team and appropriate division personnel so as to remedy and/or escalate identified issues as needed on a timely basis. Prepares leadership for 3rd party audits.- Analyzes loss experience and related data and works with location leadership to develop location-specific plans to reduce workplace incidents, accidents, and injuries. - Assists location leadership in developing and communicating annual goals. Uses data collected from incident, accident, and injury reports to provide location leadership and division management with topics for safety training.- Collaborates with location leadership to develop a schedule of required regulatory and company based workplace safety, fleet safety, and environmental training. Monitors, tracks, and communicates completion of training by required associates including Supervisor and Manager Safety training and ensures that the requisite documentation has been suitably submitted and filed.- Ensures that emergency preparedness and evacuation drills are held regularly (at a minimum annually) and that all location personnel understand and conform with the emergency preparedness and response plan requirements.- Assists the locations with federal and state OSHA, EPA, and DOT audits, inspections, and inquiries consistent with established CCBCU policies and practices.- Participates in monthly safety committee meetings for all assigned locations and provides necessary guidance to ensure meetings are effective.

Served as the direct safety representative to the Battalion Commander. Reported to the Commander to give thorough and specialized insight of the units current aviation safety climate. Responsible for managing the Battalion Commanders Aviation Safety Program consisting of 750+ personnel and 400+ pieces of Army equipment. Attend and execute Command and Staff meetings, Command Safety Council meetings (Battalion and Brigade level) and oversee the Battalions command support programs to include FOD mitigation and aviator crew rest cycles. Thorough knowledge of managing personal protective equipment (PPE), OSHA regulations, FOD, hearing conservation, environmental compliance and crew duty cycles. Verifies deliberate risk assessment worksheets are filed and accurate for any and all missions such as convoy movement, live fire exercises, field training and physical training events. Created a safety award program that rewarded Soldiers for doing the right thing and making "above average" safety conscious decisions.

Responsible for multi-ship missions stateside and abroad under extreme environmental and combat hostile situations.
