Senior Project Engineer-Capital Programs-Structures
Current• Manage engineering and construction activities related to PRT structures, facilities, buildings, bridges, tunnels, subways, roadways, busways, light rail transit system, and related infrastructure. Ensure projects adhere to the scope, budget, and schedule as well as interfaces with consultants, contractors, community, and internal & external stakeholder representatives. Confirm all phases of the project are performed safely in accordance with Quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures and achieve the needs of PRT operation and maintenance functions. Also responsible for delivery of other assigned capital improvement, maintenance, and state of good repair projects to support PRT Strategic Plan.• PRT’s Construction Management (CM) and Program Management (PM) Services Contract Manager responsible for collaborating with PRT Procurement & Project Managers on the development, administration and oversight of CM & PM Services Consultant’s contracts and work orders Current $30 million R22-05 CM & PM Services contract has seven (7) consultants awarded contracts with over 34 Work Orders in development or executed.• Represented PRT during Contractors Association of Western PA - Construction Market Symposium. Developed and presented PRT’s forecast of construction project to contractors. Represented PRT during Homewood Park City of Pittsburgh (CoP) Project plan review and collaboration with CoP designer. Collaborated with Edgewood Borough manager on Edgewood Avenue fencing and bus stop improvements projects. Collaborated with Dormont Borough Manager on vehicle parking & detour restrictions for Kelton Station rehabilitation project.
