Greetings. My name is Robert Tom and I am a data scientist and machine learning engineer with a background in biology and Asian American studies. I am currently seeking new opportunities in the San Francisco Bay Area, but I am always open to remote positions as well. Data is the currency of the modern world, and it is the key to advancing our society into the next generation of technology. My programming strengths lie in Python and SQL, particularly with manipulating data for visualizations, artificial neural networks, machine learning, and natural language processing. I have worked in customer service for five years, during which I developed my critical thinking, communication, & problem-solving skills on a daily basis.
