Managed $50M budget and 70-person team in the Retail Operations business unit that runs 2,200 locations with 15,000 employees in the U.S. for Bridgestone Americas as part of the team reporting to the Corporate CIO.• Interacted with senior business leaders to align business unit strategic and operational goals with technology solutions for the organization.• Implemented internal and external resources plans for approved systems and ensured coordination of all project managers and their teams.• Negotiated service and product contracts with vendors through collaboration with the Legal and Purchasing departments.• Developed a comprehensive Security and Compliance program for the retail division, ensuring alignment of the requirements of the Payment Card Industry, Corporate IT policies and legal demands in all 50 states.• Implemented new enterprise real-time Wide Area Network, including WiFi access for customers, in the 2,200 domestic locations and home office in cooperation with Corporate CIO technology team and the global network provider.• Partnered with Corporate CIO and reporting organization to provide strategic technology direction to senior management for business units utilizing a wide range of technology for locations throughout North and South America. Coordinated all technology operations and strategy with the IT Organization headquartered in Japan and operating world-wide.• Collaborated with Corporate CIO and team to define ways to utilize IT services company-wide. Analyzed key areas to effectively consolidate support, improve service levels and cause the least disruption.
