GBS Recruitment is Gippsland’s Premier Private White & Blue Collar Recruiters dealing with both Temporary and Permanent Recruitment. As well as general recruitment to all industries, I am responsible for managing large accounts with organisations such as Loy Yang Power & Latrobe City Council.

I was offered a position at Workways before I left the UK. I was responsible for actively identifying and canvassing employers for eligible vacancies in order to facilitate delivery of assistance to jobseekers in the Latrobe Valley region. I worked with six case managers at the Morwell Office to identify the most suitable candidates and then successfully recruit them into the relevant vacancies. I left this role to rejoin the Private Recruitment Industry as I was offered an opportunity to join Gippsland's Premier Recruitment Company GBS shortly after I had arrived into the country.

Supplying Specialists in Physical Education & Sport.I was approached by the owner of Proactive Education Recruitment to join this small, but rapidly growing specialist agency for Physical Education Professionals throughout the UK. I was responsible for the recruitment of short and long term Physical Education Professionals into Schools & Sports Clubs across the UK. I also managed the weekly payroll for all temporary workers through the company, which involves dealing with both PAYE and Umbrella Payroll options for all candidates, the UK Inland Revenue for tax purposes, and invoicing to all relevant clients that our candidates were working at on either a temporary or permanent basis. I worked closely with the owner and director of the company to constantly assess and improve the recruitment practices, using my previous recruitment experience, to help the company grow and be successful in this specialist niche market. After joining the company in February 2007, I helped increase the profit and turnover of the company significantly which resulted in further expansion of the business.

Appointed Business Manager of the Ware branch of Teachers UK upon my return from Australia. Managing and working with staff to recruit teachers from both the UK and the rest of the world, for schools in the Herts, Essex and London areas.Responsible for the office sales, gross margin, budgets, targets, marketing, staff performance, office IT and phone systems. Also general day to day recruitment duties such as obtaining and servicing clients through canvassing, sales and service visits.

Transferred from Teachers UK for 2.5 years to the Melbourne office in Australia as an Education Recruitment Consultant. BMG Associates are a direct marketing and support function for Teachers UK and The Reed Health Group. I was responsible for sourcing, interviewing and registering Australian Teachers, through exhibitions, university visits and conducting presentations across the whole of Australia to both Teachers and Health Professionals looking to work in the UK.

Opened new branch with one other colleague to provide Herts, Essex and North London schools with supply teachers on a daily, short term and permanent basis. Recruiting, registering and placing teachers from both the UK and world wide into suitable working and living environments. The Branch became the most successful within the company!
