Patients with ailments including cancer, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, HIV/AIDS, Crohn's disease and epilepsy are eligible. Took Curaleaf from a concept through the challenges of start-up to operational reality through to a money-making exit.  Raised more than $5M to prepare for the application/approval process. Awarded the license from an applicant pool of 16. Each application was scored on nine categories. Announcements of the successful bidders culminated an 18-month process of creating regulations and reviewing proposals. "The applications were voluminous, each containing 700 to more than 1,000 pages and provided detailed information about the applicants' financial stability, their relevant experience, their location and site plan, their production, safety, business and marketing protocols," said Consumer Protection Commissioner William M. Rubenstein, who is overseeing the process of legalizing the marijuana business in the state. Global Investment Manager, $1 trillion under management In my role, took on challenge to compete in 401K management market; identified two unmet needs through consumer research. Pioneered the “participant preference model” and developed a unique tool to help corporations create the optimal fund lineup for their employees. Created an innovative probability based guide to investing for employee education. Bundled these offerings with Morgan funds to build a profitable 401K business, successfully defending Morgan’s pension business. Achieved 40% annual compound growth over five years, generating $120M in Defined Contribution (DC) revenues. Spearheaded the creation of J.P. Morgan and American Century Retirement Plan Services, combining the institution-focused J.P. Morgan and retail fund provider American Century. Personally oversaw strategic process and negotiations leading to a $900M transaction.
