Currently seeking a customer service position.As the former owner of Best Moving Service (a regional moving and packing service), developed an expertice in providing an positive customer service experience and in scheduling. Consistently developed multi-level referreals (as many as five from the original customer). Developed guidelines for the efficient and safe movement of materials and property.Other acccomplishements included identifying and developing procedures to respond to potential customer questions and concerns, as well as negotiating terms and compromises mutually satisifactory to both, closing sales, and resolving complaints. In addition trained my staff, provided guidance, and mentored subordinates. Until I sold the business, Best Moving was an A+ Member of the BBB, Small Business Chamber, and Greater Memphis BNI.Prior to starting my own business, worked as an accountant focusing on areas in payables. Developed expertise in reporting, researching and resolving issues for freight, expense reports, multi company1099 reporting, and inventory to name a few.One of the things that I have enjoyed participating in is an annual skit for a Memphis Carnival event. As the past Amateur Creative Director/Choreographer of the RaMet krewe in 6 competitions won 5, placed once. Titles of skits include "Memphis" Village People, Simply Irresistible, Thriller, Shake Your Tail Feathers, "We Both Reached For The Gun" from Chicago, and "Ribber" River Dancers.
