- Reporting directly to the Vice President of Technology- Managing and mentoring a small team of Windows Administrators and Helpdesk Analysts to support corporate budget objectives- Coaching and encouraging teamwork with organizational operations, such as implementing and managing terminal server infrastructure- Assigning schedules, coordinating staff and allocating resources to promote efficiency and maximize productivity - Directing employee performance evaluations to facilitate achievement and ensure alignment of each team member’s personal career goals and the corporate goals- Collaborating with System Architects, Software Engineers and IT Management to confirm that projects are meeting strategic initiatives- Managing deployment and supporting internal infrastructure systems to verify that periodic tasks are being completed by each team member in a timely, consistent manner- Creating business processes, best practices, standards, templates and operating procedures to optimize IT project development- Responsible for the highest point of escalation for desktop and windows server infrastructure- Participating in a 24/7 rotation of on-call support and assisted with helpdesk support, as needed

- Defining, managing and implementing corporate systems infrastructure servers (virtual and physical), desktop (virtual and physical) and networking appliances, such as Dell SonicWall- Monitoring and maintaining all servers (including virtual servers) to ensure sufficient memory and drive space for current and estimated future requirements- Configuring, administering and maintaining Active Directory, GPOs, Windows DNS and DHCP- Protecting IT security vulnerability and recommending improvements- Configuring and maintaining Office365- Maintaining all corporate-issued mobile devices (Apple, Android and Blackberry)- Managing the corporate firewalls and VPN- Implementing, configuring and supporting all patching for corporate devices, including servers (virtual and physical), desktops (virtual and physical) and laptops, as well as Sophos Anti-Virus using the Kace 1000 appliance- Building and managing vendor relationships, which includes making purchases, negotiating renewals, supporting contracts and installing upgrades- Evaluating and recommending hardware and software upgrades, as well as planning and designing future infrastructure growth- Conducting usage analysis of Wi-Fi requirements and implementing technical solutions- Administering and maintaining the security system, such as procuring security cards and key access levels, as well as managing the Cisco telephony system- Configuring and maintaining our Virtual Receptionist and integrating the virtual platform with the Cisco telephony system- Designing and supporting corporate infrastructure documentation, as well as creating “how-to” documents and delivering training and orientation to new hirers
