I am a forecaster and writer with degrees in government and political science from Harvard and Berkeley. I qualified as a "superforecaster" after being among the top 2% of participants in IARPA's Good Judgment forecasting tournament. I have taught international relations, comparative politics, and political theory at Berkeley and San Francisco State, and have written about politics for The Economist, The New Republic, Big Think, The Washington Monthly, The National Interest, and California Magazine. I currently write Telling the Future on Substack.
