I am a cad designer of mechanical systems using Autodesk Inventor, Autocad and Catia V5. I was employed at Ford Motor Company for over 15 years in chassis systems cad design. I worked on brakes, steering/suspension, fuel and cooling systems with I-DEAS and Catia V5. I used Teamcenter for data storage. Most recently, I was with Hirata Corporation of America in New Hudson, Michigan as a mechanical designer. I used Autodesk Inventor and Autocad for creating assembly and detail drawings for transmission assembly line machines and automation. Prior to this, I worked at InTouch automation designing testing machines for automotive seats. I have worked in production automation design at the Jervis B. Webb Company designing transfer machines, indexers and lifts. Earlier in my career, I worked in liquid in-plant filtration systems consisting of filters, tanks, pumps and piping. My work style is 60/40 details versus “the big picture”. The details have to be right for a project to come together successfully, but these details always have to fit flawlessly into the “the big picture”. I can work individually and as a team member. The team concept is especially important in a company like Ford where all concerned work together as a team to engineer the vehicle.I have an Associate Degree in Engineering from Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan and have taken additional training in Catia V5 at Schoolcraft College and Henry Ford College in Dearborn, Michigan. I also have had update training in Teamcenter at the Siemens training center in Livonia, Michigan.
