I’m passionate about building high capacity autonomous teams. I like to mentor those that are looking to be the next generation of leaders and I celebrate with them when they eclipse my own career accomplishments. It once surprised me how much I get energized from this work, now I just recognize it as who I am and want to be.I don’t fear the difficult conversation – so commonly I witness the immense growth that comes as a result of a clear conversation. I am an accomplished leader with a breadth of experience in operations, project delivery, labour relations, quality, accreditation, and mentoring. I even dabbled in software coding and renovations (unrelated activities) and really liked both of them. Those around me have pointed out that I have a calm demeanour in the face of difficulty that generates calmness in them as well. This translates into being able to quell panic and create focus on solutions. I work well with limited information – I am able to quickly translate areas of unknown into action and keep momentum going as more is discovered. I accept constant change and building capacity for this change in myself and others.Oh yeah, and I love coffee.
