Scatsta Airfield - Shetland Isles

Working at Scatsta Airfield, Shetland Islands. Carrying out line maintenance, scheduled checks up to and including 750HR airframe inspections, and post flight HUMS analysis on Sikorsky S-92A Aircraft. Holding company approvals for the CRS of aircraft daily inspections, pre-flight inspections and leak checks on the S-92A.

Aberdeen

Upon completion of my fully approved EASA Part 147 CAT A3 basic training in conjunction with Bristow and Resource group. I was working in the workshops at Bristow’s Aberdeen base, including engine overhaul workshop, assisting in engine module changes. The safety equipment workshop, servicing emergency floats, life rafts. The mechanical workshop repairing, testing mechanical and hydraulic aircraft components including brake units and undercarriage oleos and cargo hooks. The avionics workshop assisting in LRU repair. I subsequently worked for two years on detachments for Bristow. Working at their Norwich, Scatsta, Aberdeen Base and Line maintenance facilities. Working with LAE’S on scheduled line maintenance, on EC225LP, EC155, S76C++, AS332L, S-92A type aircraft. Aberdeen Base maintenance work included 'G' checks of AS332L. 1500 hr/ 2 year inspections on S-92A and S76C++, return to service work on EC255LP type aircraft. Completing my apprenticeship June 2013 EASA Part 66 Cat A3 licence issued 20th March 2013.
