ProtAffin has developed the CellJammer® discovery technology to generate biopharmaceutical compounds addressing many high priority disease targets in the pharmaceutical industry. Through this technology ProtAffin has created a pipeline of glycan-binding decoy proteins that cause potent down-regulation of protein function with applications in inflammation, respiratory diseases and oncology. The approach is applicable to over 900 targets contained in a proprietary database, including chemokines and growth factors. Responsibilities: Directing the cross-functional development of preclinical and clinical development projects, including assisting in defining the strategy for such projects.Tasks:- Leading cross-functional teams for the development of PA401 and PA910.- Managing external collaborations in CMC, Toxicology and Bioanalysis & Immunogenicity Testing.- Managing and contributing to Scientific Advice Meetings, the preparation of Orphan Drug Applications and Clinical Trial Applications (CTAs).PA401 was successfully managed from Proof of Concept in animal models into a Phase 1 First in Human study in healthy volunteers.

Responsible for sales, science and strategy for bioanalysis at TNO. Bioanalysis includes quantitative and qualitative analysis of small molecules, biopharmaceuticals and anti-drug antibodies in biological matrices using LC-MS/MS, ELISA, RIA and Biacore.
