Cableworks supplies products to customers in Canada and the US which are used in extreme environments. My responsibilities as a Cable Technician include:• Interpreting schematics to build harnesses providing types and lengths of cable used.• Stripping the cable outer sheath to expose inner wires. • Installation of connectors to exposed wires.• Cutting and stripping of cables to required lengths.

TCT is the sole licensed overhaul, repair and maintenance service provider for aero derivative industrial gas turbines, serving an expanding international client base. • Cleaning of turbine parts using specialized chemicals to remove rust, corrosion and old coatings from parts made of different types of metals.• Masking turbine parts following OEM schematics in preparation for coating application.• Abrasive blasting of parts to clean surfaces prior to coatings as per OEM specifications• Application of various types of coatings following manufacturer specifications and schematics.• Used hand tools to complete repairs to turbine blades and other parts to remove impact marks and other imperfections following manufacturer specifications and tolerances to allow proper airflow and maintain turbine performance.• Repair or replacement of screw threads and bearings as require.• Ensure proper labels stayed with parts throughout the repair process and followed.
