Selected Accomplishments• In collaboration with the Global Sourcing Organization, reduced the domestic transportation spend by $3.1M through an aggressive re-negotition of rates.• As part of my efforts for reducing the budget by $3.1M I received an award from management for my key contribution to reducing the truckload spend by $1M.• As a result of these negotiations we were able to discontinue the use of a third party provider saving the company $1.2M in management fees.
