This included custom workflow processing enabling the appropriate approval authority on transactions prior to electronic purchase order distribution. As a Group Vice President within the Strategic Sourcing and Technology department I managed a sourcing team supporting the information technology groups within JPMC’s Global Asset Management business. Accomplishments included:• Reducing annual expenses by $10 million by leading a right-shoring initiative for Global Asset Management including determining strategic location selection and sourcing of providers in support of resource deployment and cost optimization.• Annualized contract spend negotiated each year was approximately $90 million with annualized hard dollar savings of $16 million.• Negotiated a major infrastructure outsourcing agreement valued at $20 million annually. • Established, in partnership with Group CIO’s, a Vendor Management Office providing dramatically improved oversight and management of offshore vendors.

As the Director of Vendor Management I was responsible for the Program Management of IT preferred global vendors and domestic consultant staffing vendors at the Securities Industry Automation Corporation and the New York Stock Exchange. Duties Included:• Established all sourcing policies, procedures, training, methodologies, models, templates and metrics to govern and monitor the relationships between internal stakeholders and preferred vendors. • Established procedures for all projects to utilize templates for RFI’s, RFP’s, SOW’s and associated SLA’s. Each included methodologies and tools designed to enhance the management and improve the measurement of value delivered. • Established offshore facilities in four locations within India leveraging multiple vendors to deliver IT related services. Features included physical deterrents, logical network safeguards, contingency & disaster recovery plans and through international security background processing for each assigned team member.• Member of the Structural Cost Effectiveness team within the NYSE and SIAC to review costs related hardware, software and manpower to determine methods to generate savings. As the leader of the Vendor Management Office savings delivered each year exceeded $10 million.

At Orygen (a Level 3 Communications Company) I served as the Managing Director responsible for the offshore management of consulting and application outsourcing for major client engagements. This included business development, vendor relationships, contract pricing and the management of daily operations with annual revenue of approximately $50 million. Responsibilities included:• Preparation of client proposals and cost models, the preparation and presenting of sales material, creating Statements of Work, P&L responsibilities, departmental budgeting, and extensive experience in headcount projections/deployment and revenue forecasting. • Held operational responsibility for Pershing (financial services institution) over a 5-year period. This included the overall project planning, maintaining engagement objectives, project staffing, contract pricing, financial budgeting, and revenue projections for multiple development projects generating revenue exceeding $26 million annually. • Overall management of staff including 2 Vice Presidents, 4 Directors, 10 Project Managers, 180+ technical employees and administrators across 40 concurrent development projects. • Project management and development was located in 3 US (New Jersey, Nebraska and Arizona) and 2 offshore (Limerick, Ireland, Bangalore, India) facilities.

As a member of the IT department I served as a Project Manager responsible for multiple IT projects for all Human Resource Information Systems which include PeopleSoft & Tesseract HRIS, CICS and COBOL batch systems.
