• Designed, manufactured and tested numerous working nuclear batteries using MATLAB, Simulink, Excel and Solidworks amongst other software.
• Project managed the PhD from start to finish including deciding the direction of research and driving forward all aspects of design, development and manufacture.

• Engineering Summer Placement: Intern on the project management team for the construction of the Isle of Grain gas turbine power plant combined heat and power (CHP) project.
• Regular site visits to assess safety documentation and progress of work – developed my communication skills.
• I assessed method statements, risk assessments, design maps and project plans.
