Created a non-profit, to organize the Seattle Mini Maker Faire, called Penny University. Grew the event from a small two room affair, to an annual event with tens of thousands of attendees annually at the Museum of Pop Culture at Seattle Center.

Wrote a mobile optimized SDK for web socket communication at Disney. Created several demonstration apps that utilized the library. The SDK included example code in Swift and Objective-C and extensive documentation.Wrote V.2 of a networking library for geo-location and push notifications. Wrote 11 different iPhone/iPad apps used on stage by the CEO of Cisco and the Cisco demo team during Cisco Live events in front of hundreds of thousands of attendees. The apps demonstrated following technologies.• Augmented Reality. (Dynamic camera user interface overlays) Video Chat. (A FaceTime or Skype like system). • Camera and Video recording. • Location Awareness in subways and stores. Several of the applications are published in the internal Cisco App Store.

Developed four different iterations of an iPhone app for hotel concierges.

Implemented a state of the art Epic Healthcare ambulatory system, with wireless tablets, dragon dictation for a hundred and twenty physicians (multi-specialty) in eight locations. Was responsible for coordinating all system support and implantation issues, and physician issues.

Created “one of the jewels in the crown of the Seattle Startup community”(Seattle Pi Blog). Six Hour Startup held monthly startup building sessions that are open to the community.Utilizing Django and Ruby on Rails I designed and built 14 different startups from the ground up.. The majority of the projects where ‘mashups’ where we took results from a API, combined it with a second API and presented it to the user in a new way. Fixed and debugged a check imaging system for midsize banks. Wrote, installed, built, software on AS/400 and supporting Windows based client software (RPG-IV and C++). and overnight phone support. The system originally used embedded OS/2 check readers to transfer data to AS/400 systems where a set of forty RPG programs calculated and balanced the millions of checking accounts in realtime. Migrated the system to include a Check21 interface that transferred the checks electronically to the Federal Reserve nightly and replaced the core imaging component with a Win32 ASP database system. We also output CD-ROMS containing images of the checks along with an embedded database for accounting systems.
