I am a Principal at Carmody MacDonald P.C. in St. Louis, Missouri. I concentrate my practice in the area of bankruptcy, creditor’s rights, commercial litigation and financial transactions. I am admitted to practice law in Missouri and Illinois. In addition, I am admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Missouri, Western District of Missouri, Central District of Illinois and the Southern District of Illinois. I am also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. I am a member of the American Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Illinois State Bar Association. I am a frequent speaker on bankruptcy, creditors’ rights and commercial litigation. In 1995, I was certified in the field of Business Bankruptcy by the American Bankruptcy Board of Certification. I also serve as a panel trustee for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Illinois. I received my Bachelor of Arts in History from Saint Louis University in 1986, and received my Juris Doctorate from Saint Louis University School of Law in 1989. I co-founded Desai Eggmann Mason LLC in 2011 after previously being a partner with the law firm of Lathrop & Gage LLP.
