Built the Technology Partnerships function, team, and processes from the ground up. We provide direction for innovation, business transformation, sales enablement, and client experience across all UBS businesses.• Lead UBS's engagement with the external technology startup and Venture Capital ecosystem to influence firmwide awareness of opportunities.• Increase the firm's revenue and investments with emerging technology companies.• Advance the technical environment by evaluating best-of-breed products, correlating across business gaps and requirements, delivering strategic recommendations/use cases to business leaders, and facilitating product evaluations and eventual adoption.• Ideation and implementation of client-focused business models helping leadership leverage the firm’s technology expertise to evolve client services and drive new revenue.• Establish and chair events which provide client value and foster collaboration with the firm’s technology partners

Established the firm’s Chief Digital Office and built capabilities to empower & enable firmwide innovation activities. Includes Centers of Excellence, Group Innovation, Research & Development, Research Services, and Business Advisory. Global responsibility for supporting Wealth Management and Asset Management’s innovation agendas.Direct report to Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Digital Officer (CDO).

Research & Development provides strategic optionality for UBS businesses through the research and application of emerging technology, offers capabilities to support innovation across the firm, and oversees the development of new products.I identified, evaluated, and discovered benefits of emerging technologies towards advancing the firm’s strategic goals. Areas of expertise included Client Experience (UX), Internet of Things (IoT), Virtual Reality (VR/AR), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Additionally developed, maintained, and strengthened collaboration with the broader innovation ecosystem (Venture Capital, Startups, Accelerators, Universities) to support a firm-wide commitment to innovation activities.

Responsible for user experience, overall platform operation, change control, and product education across all Asset Management lines of business.Included UBS O’Connor (Macro Long/Short Hedge Fund), UBS Hedge Fund Services, and UBS Global Real Estate.
