My particular skill is developing programs in MS-Excel/VBA for automating processes and reporting, reducing time from hours to few seconds and the drudgery of collating data from various sources. Such programs include: interfaces from external systems using reports (text, csv or Excel files) from Customer Relationship Management systems, industry-specific front-end systems, SAP and in-house applications to generate Ledger or Sales Order Import files, as well as to generate client-facing documents (such as statements, invoices, purchase orders) in pdf and send them through MS-Outlook, and printing of cheques and creation of SEPA files. I have also developed applications to get the currency exchange rates from websites of FX providers such as OANDA, XE and European Central Bank and update the daily exchange and period rates tables for all active business units and traded currencies. My clients are from various sectors, including hospitality, igaming, communications, financial services, and Oil & Gas in Malta, Nigeria and Kenya. I pride myself in not being able to resist a problem that can be solved by Excel, VBA, SQL or infor Q&A.I am currently also implementing SharperLight reporting tool that can run on 64bit Excel and reports can be published and viewed on browser allowing users to see reports, dashboards, charts from anywhere without the need of having it installed on their laptop or tablet.Been supporting Infor SunSystems since 1999 in various sectors in Malta, Libya, Tunisia and Trinidad. Prior to that, I worked with banks in Malta for 26 years on international operations and IT. Had configured SunSystems for Trustee companies where their main assets are price-based instruments such as bonds and shares that are subject to periodic price and exchange rate revaluations. They are able to run reports across any or all of their 200+ business units regarding maturing deposits, coupons receivable, reference data changes, holdings in particular instruments, etc.#SunSystems
