CurrentCompany role includes maintenance of IT services for businesses throughout the Charlotte region, including patch maintenance, security auditing and management, technical troubleshooting and resolution. Also provides recommendations for IT advancement and consultation for areas in which services and IT elements can be implemented or improved to better serve unique business needs.Common responsibilities include server migration, local to cloud migration, new network setup, VOIP installation, management and troubleshooting, hardware diagnostics, server administration, disaster recovery. Experience with various MSP tools: Autotask CRM and helpdesk, GFI / Solarwinds RMM, and Connectwise. Experience with PFSense firewall, Veeam products, 3CX and FreePBX style VOIP services, and VMware virtualization technology. Powershell scripting is used to expedite processes and automate some tasks. Position has an emphasis on customer care with a high amount of client interaction. Coordination of projects with other IT teams and a strong ability to work without supervision is necessary for this position. Remote administration and control tools are utilized extensively. I have personally trained and learned the use of Docker and Docker Compose to deploy applications and have starter level Linux administration skills.
