Since 2022 I have led efforts to modernize and streamline our operations through automation and project management to reduce the burden on our entire volunteering team and expand our capabilities. I implemented automation systems for volunteer scheduling, program organization, and event planning, all of which enabled us to bring more amenities and activity to our community space.Leveraging tools such as Airtable, I centralized workflows previously managed manually across disparate systems, enabling automated processes that saved time and improved accuracy. These systems now support the organization in sending hundreds of emails monthly to volunteers, market vendors, and event planners, providing confirmations, next steps, and critical updates. Additionally, I introduced automated Slack notifications to reduce the cognitive load on volunteers tasked with planning weekly events and coordinating between stakeholders.
